My very 1st video blog by Jonathan 'Whistler' Erskine-Nartey

It's my very first time doing my own video blog just for fun of it using my own Nikon S8000 digital camera, I feel weird talking to myself on camera, so I try to do it in WWE style - The Rock Returns to RAW! or The Rock Makes Fun Of His Hell In A Cell Opponents with music at the end in order to make myself feel a bit more comfortable while filming on camera, even I was both very nervous & excited all at the same time!! Sorry for the bad lightning in my bedroom, as it was filming at night on 22/8/12 22:57 I'm talking about both: Seeing is Believing - UNREAL RESULTS and myself as Mr Personality Winner Miami Pro 2012 next to with the rest of other Winners - pictured downloaded from Facebook!

The song I've used at the end as my entrance Theme: C.J. Lewis - Maximum Respect - one of my favourite songs. It's not the same thing as WWE backstage interview, but it does helps me to gain more confidence and experience being in front of the camera just in case of future TV / backstage interviews.

My 2nd Video Blog - The Whistler's Video Blog
by Jonathan 'Whistler' Erskine-Nartey

Here is the Gran Turismo - Manufacturer Car Select music beat (I loved it so much that I had to put it in repeat mode) from my favourite Sony PS1 video game: Gran Turismo, starting from 0:32 mark that I was attempting to "Rap" over the music beat while making up the chorus as I go along in order to complete my song lyrics #15: Reload.com out of 22 song lyrics for "Who's Rapper R?" Album - postponed until later in the future, but the music beat was a bit tricky for me!

Sorry for the music is too low because my next door neighbour will knock on my door and complaining about loud music, so I had to set the volume control both on my Sound LAB DSM 5 Mixer on top of Sanyo RD 5030 Cassette Deck & Technics stacked Hi-Fi containing Turntable system SL-B210, Stereo Integrated Amplifier SU-Z15, FM/MW/LW Stereo Tuner ST-Z15L, Tape Deck RS-M205 with Hi-Fi Speaker System SB-3110A as well Memorex SCT-89 High Speed Dubbing Stereo Twin Cassette Deck (while my dad - RIP had Memorex SCT-45 Stereo Double Cassette Deck stored in his wardrobe) & Philips CD650 CD player with SP-19 4 Way Audio Control Switch very low while Rapping at the same time using the music beat connected from my Dell XPS 630i PC - featured in Facebook.

My complete stacked Hi-Fi is all connected up to my Dell XPS 630i PC for capturing both video / audio from VCRs - Betmax / VHS, PS2 or TV - Sky+ HD / DVD Player, even from both Memorex SCT-89 High Speed Dubbing & Sanyo RD 5030 Stereo Cassette Decks onto PC into MP3 format.

3rd Video Blog - Fri 31st Aug 2012
by Jonathan 'Whistler' Erskine-Nartey

All started from when I was younger, I couldn't speak at all, due to learning difficulties / suffering Autism, it wasn't very common back then but I'm very good on other form of communication such as writing / typing and loves setting up with gadgets / electrical goods e.g. TV's, video recorders, etc. Only my dad noticed it and decided to buy me a first home computer - mentioned at 1:41 mark, I was referring to Amstrad CPC 464 when I was 6 years old. From there, it worked as my teaching aid and has changed my life...

However, since I got very addicted with using computers a lot and still do, I'm 'programmed' and my mind works like a computer: INPUT - PROCESS - OUTPUT and storing very important things in my mind (archive) like a hard drive -- that's why I can still remember some of the things / flashbacks since I was a child clearly like as if it was yesterday.

Since I'm technical minded - love doing the long and hard way without taking any shortcuts / cutting corners at all, as well being conscientious person & analytical thinker, my mind is like filtering all the good bits and forgetting all the bad bits - that's what it makes me very unique from other men, sometimes, I'm absent-minded because I've got other things or having ideas coming about something else on my mind, as well a set of my own commands 'self-programming' in my mind
silmiar to Terminator (T-800) Vision - HUD. .

Note: When you asked me to do something or get something for you, you've to give me very detailed info as possible e.g. if you want me to mix a paint for you, you've to tell me what size, type of paint (Matt, Silk, Gloss and so on), name of the colour first before I mix the paint using Computerised Dulux paint mixing machine / Dulux MixLab otherwise I'll be like "What paint? What size of the paint tin?" same thing with cutting the board in Custom wood cutting service - give me details first: Measurements, what type (MDF, Plywood, etc) & size (12mm, 15mm, 18mm, etc) of the wood you want, otherwise I'll be telling you where are your measurements and what type of wood you want?

So, I've used my own ways of finding the drive, enthusiasm, motivation, willpower, inspiration for ideas the hard way, coming from all sorts of various sources combined into 1 as follows:

As for me, I feel like I'm fighting for all beautiful women and doing my best not to let them down. So it's about using your mind and thoughts in a positive way! As you can see, that's why I'm always happy, no matter what I do including doing very long, thorough and boring jobs as well doing ad hoc tasks - I just do it without any arguments, simple as that! Also, that's why I've got self motivation, determination, confidence, dedication, discipline and more, without the need of anyone's help and always worked alone - that's the way I've been brought up!

A few questions to get you started:

  • What are your ideas of inspiration?
  • What's your favourite Actor / Actress?
  • What's your favourite Singer?
  • What do you like watching the most?
  • What sports do you like doing the most?
  • What's your dream date?
  • Which singers do you like in music videos?
  • What movies do you like?

If you're letting yourself down, then it's time to change your way of thinking!!

I'm not sure if this helps, but I'll give you a link that got me first started very extremely interested with Fitness: Six Pack Abs Training Tips with Diane Chaloux & Vince DelMonte

So, basically stop talking and thinking about it - Just Do It like the Nike slogan says!

It'll make a perfect sense! Use, look or watch anything as your way of motivation, make a weekly action plan and stick to it, following it day by day and slowly it'll gets more and more easier, as you're getting used to it! It'll take time, but you'll love with the results in the end, trust me!

My 4th Video blog - Tuesday 9th Oct 2012 by Jonathan 'Whistler' Erskine-Nartey

My 4th Video blog after from 3rd video blog back in 31st Aug 2012, due to being extremely very busy with Fitness & work.

Originally, I was going to use one of the Gym's Studio Rooms, explaining how I got involved with competing in Miami Pro Fitness competitions and how I got in touch with Angie, but I'll explain it in 5th Video blog.

Instead, I'll give you guys a small demo of my new song "Miami Pro" that just come in my mind as soon I've woken up on Sat 6th Oct, one day before attending Miami Pro CAMP on Sun 7th Oct 2012.

Original:

Miami Pro, Miami Pro, you're competing with the best of the best! Miami Pro, don't be shy, show off what you made of, give us everything you've got! Miami Pro, Miami Pro, here we go... here we go...

You know the rules, please tell us what to do and we'll follow them with pure determination, working our guts out day after day, trying our best not to let you guys down, cause you guys means business!

But today, as soon I was about to do my 4th Video blog, more ideas are started coming to my mind, as well making a few changes as follows: Miami Pro, Miami Pro, competing with the best of the best!
Miami Pro, Miami Pro, don't be shy, show off what you made of
Give us everything you've got!
Miami Pro, Miami Pro, here we go... here we go...

You know the rules; please tell us what to do
And we'll follow them with pure determination
Working our guts out day after day
Learning new things in everyday life
Life is hard
But we're still trying our best not to let you guys down
Cause you guys means business
Offering us an opportunity of a life time
To shine on the spotlight
Becoming the next big thing in Fitness Industry
So train hard, time is ticking
No time to mess about, it's not a game, it's serious
Stay focused and soon it'll be show time
Feeling the buzz on the stage
Either you're placed as a winner or not
It doesn't really matter because everybody is a winner!

Joining in Miami Pro after party, having a great time to make
Up the lost time missing out partying too hard,
Having lots of fun, too hot too handle with Miami Pro Staff
Networking, connecting & exchange contacts with Miami Pro Athletes
As it's good to talk with the right people in the business

Note: I forgot to say "So train hard, time is ticking like an egg timer" but I've missed out "like an egg timer" bit.

I'm looking forward to attend next Miami Pro CAMP on Jan 2013 as well competing in April 2013

My 5th Video Blog - Monday 24th Dec 2012 by Jonathan 'Whistler' Erskine-Nartey

As promised, this time I've used one of LA Fitness Gym's Studio Rooms, explaining how I got started with Fitness, involved with competing in Miami Pro Fitness competitions and how I got in touch with Angie....

Originally, this is exactly what I always wanted to do when I was 16 years old (1996) - competing in any Fitness Modelling competition becoming a Model after I've started with Weight lifting at age of 15 in my secondary school after I've got the idea from Mario Lopez in Saved by the Bell Theme Song (Original Version) at 0:22 mark while watching Saved By The Bell, while at the same time, I become more interested and very good at Tennis after watching Phenom (TV series) especially Opening Credits, as well becoming more interested in other sports like Squash, Badminton & Football.

Basically, I was watching all TV shows including Blossom (TV series) especially from 1995 Intro / Opening Credits, Sweet Valley High (TV series), Heartbreak High (TV series) - that's where I've started having "teen crush" with Ada Nicodemou as Katerina Ioannou, but not sure which episode probably between episodes 54 to 104 or episodes 105 to 130, California Dreams (TV series) and so on as extra homework - educational while studying in my secondary school at the same time (the same with my dad when he got time off from work) - killing 2 birds with 1 stone!! Continued on watching other TV shows throughout the years such as Moonlighting (TV series) - few repeated episodes, Friends (TV series), Cybill (TV series), Spin City (TV series), Beverly Hills, 90210, etc. That's where I've got all this positive influence from by staying at home mostly while my brothers & my mum go out mostly!! Also I jog from Kilburn High Rd to all the way back home - West End Lane route to keep myself fit after my dad encouraging me & my 2 brothers to keep us healthy with long walks / jog, as he was ex-Footballer / Athlete and working at Heinz at the time, but my current family didn't like it, except me I loved it so much and continue following my dad's footsteps.

However, here comes the real problem!! Since I was doing extremely well with myself especially what I'm going through with learning difficulties, as well top of everything else, I'm still handling any situation very well, making my dad both extremely very happy and proud of me, after he keep hearing lots of my good news / reports without any single complaint against me everywhere I attend and worked at! This has made some people becoming more jealous about me because I was the only one getting all the attention more than them, even I was extremely very quiet & shy person at the time, they simple couldn't handle it, so they decided to make my life a living hell as possible for absolutely no reason or I didn't do anything bad to them except nothing but helping them, as well wrecking my life, punishing me for the things I didn't even do, trying to make out that I'm the bad guy here when I'm not, turning against me, taking advantage of me, enjoying themselves out of my expense, stealing and borrowing money off me! This is only the quarter bit of it, but when my time comes; my complete life story will be available later in the future.

When I say that I’m 16 years behind with Fitness & career wise to some people who is very proud of me and my unreal results, I meant to say that to date, I should have by now earning a total of 32 (going by same age as me) or more medals, trophies, lots of magazine covers, newspaper articles, Guinness World Record holder, Singles / Albums, few recorded theme songs, song lyrics fully copyrighted & released, lots of TV shows, commercials, movies, published life stories, married to very hot, strong & sexy Fitness Model / Actress, Granny / movies / music awards, own house – moved out of London as far away from my current family as possible, living in much healthier lifestyle with private gym – working out and having fun together, entertainment centre and much more. This is why I’m 16 years behind and trying to catch up with everything as possible now!!

This is only the quarter bit of it, but when my time comes; my complete life story will be available later in the future.

While I was settling down in my uncle's house, I've got myself a new HP G61-632NR Notebook when I was in Jacksonville, Florida for a road trip when my uncle as I've left my Sony VAIO PCG-FR415B (Facebook) laptop behind in the UK, an idea has come to my head - Fitness!!

Links that I was referring to as follows:

My 1hr non-stop jogging route (mentioned at 5:35 mark) without rest: Start from Woodchurch Rd, Greencroft Gardens, Finchley Road, Ave Rd, King Henry's Rd, Primrose Hill Rd, Regent's Park Rd, Bridge Approach, Adelaide Rd, Haverstock Hill, Camden Rd, Torriano Ave, Leighton Rd, Kentish Town Rd, Highgate Rd, Gordon House Rd, Fleet Rd, Pond St, Rosslyn Hill, England's Ln, Primrose Hill Rd, Adelaide Rd straight to Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, then continued straight onto X-Trainer.

My 30mins jog as warm up / cardio: Start from outside Swiss Cottage gym - Adelaide Rd, King Henry's Rd all the way round back to Swiss Cottage gym, straight onto X-Trainer, attending 6-8 gym classes a day, top of other exercises.

My walk to LA Fitness: Starting from Woodchurch Rd, Greencroft Gardens, Finchley Rd, College Crescent, Belsize Park, Belsize Ave, Aspern Grove, Woodland Walk - footpath onto Garnett Rd, Parkhill Rd, Fleet Rd, Mansfield Rd, Highgate Rd, Carker's Ln to LA Fitness and walk all the way back home from the same route as before.

So, my advice is don’t do the same mistakes that I’ve did throughout the years - trust me, I've learned everything the hard way:

  • Don’t let anyone stopping you to follow your own dream, ambitions, drive, and passion; don’t even give them a chance to let you holding back, no matter what they say.

  • Be extremely careful with borrowing your hard earned money to other people especially to deadbeat people or unreliable family members, no matter how hard they’re trying to guilt-tripping you, don’t even believe in their promises or lies! It’s not really worth the grief! If so, pay anyone by cheque or paid into their bank account directly, same thing with bills or shopping, pay by debit card or cheque, so that you’ve got proof via bank statement, just in case!

  • If doing something that makes you happy and enjoying so much whatever you're doing, keep on doing it – at the end of the day, it’s your life to whatever you want to, not theirs!!

  • Surround yourself more with positive and upbeat people instead of negative, unsupportive & very unhelpful people!

  • Never get involved with unsuitable teamwork, otherwise you’ll be doing all the work for them while they’ll be very lazy, doing nothing and people will ending up depending on you to do absolutely everything for THEM all the time!! That's why I prefer to work alone at work and this way, I'll get lots of jobs / tasks done much quicker on my own instead have someone who constantly always gets in my way and doing nothing at all, leaving me to do all the work - either very suitable teammate or I'll work alone simple as that!!

  • Importantly, especially to all the last born (like me), don't let your older brothers or any family members taking advantage out of you like borrowing money off you or asking you lots of favours to help them when they're in trouble every time they feel like it without a single thank you, help, support or nothing in a return from them, they're SUPPOSED to be looking after & supporting the last born and sincerely not be treating the last born like garbage, not the OTHER WAY and hide your hard earned money / valuables & expensive personal belongings!!

I wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Have a Blessed Happy New Year, wishing you all the best in 2013!!

The Whistler's Video blog before Miami Pro - Fri 1st March 2013

Since it's a month & 6 days to go, I've decided to make a video blog, wishing everybody a best of luck and looking forward to meet all of you in April!!

Taking about a total of 20 takes, due to some people keep on interrupting, especially with my new clothing, lol! While I was running out of time to do the very last take, forgotting everything what I've said in the first take, so I rushed it up a bit, trying to get my video blog out of the way, having a swim afterwards while trying out my new Swimwear shorts, getting changed, walking all my way back to home, having something to eat as soon I get home and get ready for work!!

Stay focused, train hard, but don't get yourself injured! Stay strong & healthy and I'll see y'all in April!!

If anyone needs some help with getting the way to any Tanning Venue or St. Albans Arena, let me know and I'll added more Google Maps links onto my Miami Pro 2012 Mr. Personality Winner FB page: http://www.facebook.com/jonathanen2

Since I'm very extremely busy with both work & Fitness, having lots of things to say but no time to write up lots of comments / statuses on FB, so I thought that I'll just say everything top of my head without any preparation beforehand as possible onto my Video blog instead. Originally, I was planning to do it on Tuesday 16th April 2013 morning after my daily gym workout, but postponed, due to my managers wanted me to worked much more longer at the last minute!

  • Wanted to say thanks to Angie Weston for offering me an opportunity with taking part in your competition.

  • Congratulations to the winners: Mel Magners, Charles Squat Rack Townend, Tim Chase, Donna Alaine Ostler, Donna Maria de Lisser - 2 Donna's for the price of 1 (laughs), Kelly Tyrrell, as well other winners like Adam Parr, Dave Cunningham & others Athletes for competing.

  • Great seeing you too, Joyce Nunu

  • You're looking very hot & beautiful, Francesca Giacomini

  • Thanks to backstage staff, Karen & Louise from Show Tan, judges especially James Alexander Ellis, Wbff Pro Ryan John-Baptiste

  • Talking about NAMED & SHAMED: Athlete Jerry Okoye briefly

  • Congratulations to Mel one more time, I'm extremely very proud of her for all her hard work, efforts putting into her training from last year April, especially with her amazing body transformation, even cheering me on while I'm competing in last year June's event and now she is placed in top five - 5th in both Female Ms. Bikini Short & Female Fitness Model Short!! Well done, Mel!!

  • Congratulations to Charles, both Donna's for winning Fitness Model - Over 40’s category as well proving my point that you/me never too old to be a Model, no matter how old you're, you can still do modelling as long you've very good physique. I'm very proud of their hard work, it's not very easy!! As well, Simon Harvey from last year's competition in Bodybuilding category to prove my point!

  • Congratulations to Kelly for placing 4th in Yummy Mums category

  • Congratulations to Tim for placing 3rd in Fitness Model Over 75KG

  • Thanks to Mel for recommending Brian O'Cathain to me via FB. I've arranged to meet him in person on my day off at 1pm & came back for his training circuit, even after I've worked from 12pm on Mon till 7am next Tuesday morning and then worked from 12pm till 9pm on same Tuesday with only 3 hrs sleep between. That's how busy really I'm, barely have spare time for myself, but I'm not complaining because I'm used to it and loved keeping myself very busy all the time, reminding me of when I was on the roll with working in 4 jobs back in the days!!

  • Thanks again to Mel for reminding me of my happy secondary school memories, especially with BK trainers, my favourite sports - Badminton, Squash, Tennis & Boxing!!

  • I love Fitness like I keep saying to people and why, talking about yesterday's training with Brian! Can't wait for next week and looking forward to it! Next, I need to see Steve Bradley soon for more training.

  • To the haters out there: Please stop sending us very negative comments / vibe! If you think you can do better? Why don't you step in the gym, give it a week (try it for the full year non-stop) with the training & diet, you'll see how hard it is!! It's not easy, it's not like just wake up and said I can do better than other Athletes out there straight away! If you can try and do it for a week, then keep on trying for a month and see how you get on without giving up! If you can do it and got what it takes, well done!! Either you put up or shut up!! Just because I'm lean, it doesn't mean I'm weak, don't let my good looks fool you and don't mess me around like I keep saying that I'm not like everybody else - referring to time wasters who has no ambition, no passion, no drive! I'm hard worker, I don't care how far it is or how long it takes, as long I know a way to get there, then I'm coming to get the job done!! Speaking of getting job done, I always do everything... ...Got interrupted with my phone ringing towards the end!!!

  • Finally, before I go... Since my all-time favourite WWE Superstar / Wrestler, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson loses WWE Heavyweight Championship belt to John Cena, he is still 'The People's Champion' like me, I didn't get placed in Miami Pro World Championships 2013, I'm still extremely proud being Miami Pro 2012 Mr Personality Champion and I loved it!

  • End it with borrowing The Rock's phrase: If you smell what The Whistler is cooking!

I’ve forgotten to mention Sylvia Mirandah for the kind words, Pakken Yung especially he putting his knee operation on hold until after finished competing in Miami Pro World Championships - I rate him for being very brave and his determination, Audrey Kaipio, Tania Attar, Normie Shoulders McMichael, Imma DaLleshi, Carla Elodie Punchard, Jed Goco, Kamal Faruk, Abs Sharma, Caroline from Spray Tans For You, Matt Marsh-Photographer for all his hard work with his awesome stage photos, I loved them so much!!
